There will be mud

My two youngest (ages 3 and 4) went out to play in the backyard today. After a while, my four year old came in and said, "Mom, I have a recipe for mud. You just mix dirt and water!" Then they found the dogs' water dishes, filled them up at the outside spigot, and proceeded to make large quantities of mud. The four year old returned after a while, "Mom, I"m all muddy!" I directed him to my bathroom that was beautifully clean yesterday to hose himself down. As he did that, I remember the last time I cleaned the bathroom. They made a big muddy mess in there the day after as well. So I've decided I should no longer bother cleaning the bathroom because it's just going to be muddy the next day. Sigh.
